Our goal:

to continue developing our activities while respecting and protecting the environment. Committed to managing the environmental impact of our activities, we have pursued an environmental initiative since March 1999 and have been ISO 14001 certified since September 2009. Our goals are as follows:
  • To prevent risks of soil, subsoil and air pollution: several facilities are in place to prevent these risks, ensuring that the liquid chemicals used do not spread into the environment. We invest in high-performance extraction units that effectively capture fine particles (PM2.5 to PM10). These investments help us reduce pollutant concentrations in the air, one of the key priorities of the Vallée de l’Arve (Arve Valley) Atmosphere Protection Plan.
  • To make the best use of natural resources by optimising the energy consumption of our equipment and ensuring effective waste management (selective waste sorting, industrial waste, etc.). The involvement of all employees is key to achieving this and we are committed to ensuring that every member of staff is aware of our environmental commitments through our training programmes.

Commitment by Senior Management

Senior Management takes responsibility for the effectiveness of the environmental management system. It is committed to providing the necessary resources and means to achieve its goals. The Quality and Environment Department, in collaboration with the technical departments directly concerned, is responsible for leading and managing an environmental approach focused on continuous improvement, ensuring that our activities comply with legislation and all other requirements.
